PTI announces to go to NAB against Sindh government
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to lodge a complaint against the Sindh government with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), saying that 52 per cent of bribes go to the Sindh government.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi along with Haleem Adil Sheikh and other leaders, Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that ever since Haleem Adil Sheikh started exposing the Sindh government, the Sindh government has been his enemy. He did not have any Uzair Baloch in his time, otherwise he would have been five years old and if any Uzair Baloch was found today, he would have been martyred, he would not have been here.
He said that SSP Rizwan had leveled allegations against Saeed Ghani's brother for selling drugs. Imtiaz Sheikh was also charged. The media forgets this too and then we complain.
He said that the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced that if anyone commits corruption, he will not remain in the party and if anyone commits corruption in the country, he will not remain and the proof of this was given only yesterday. Action has been taken in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after the audio record came.
He claimed that 52 per cent bribe goes to whatever is done in the government of Sindh, the media should also pay attention to which department contributes what percentage in the processing of a bill.
Firdous Shamim said that I am going to file a complaint against the entire Sindh government in NAB that they ruined Sindh, they looted money and now we have to see what action NAB Sindh will take.
"We, as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), welcome this investigation and have no qualms and are presenting ourselves for a judicial inquiry. However, we condemn the media trial," he said.
He said that we expect the same standard from the media that when there is a complaint against someone, they will give it as much coverage as was given to Haleem Adil Sheikh yesterday.
On this occasion, Haleem Adil Sheikh said that NAB notice was issued on the basis of the complaint yesterday and at the same time allegations of money laundering and china cutting are being mentioned even though there is no mention of money laundering anywhere in the NAB notification.
He said that the land which is being mentioned, I took 4 acres of land in my name in 1991, took a loan on it and repaid the loan by setting up a poultry farm and there is a single document of it.
He said that thousands of acres of land on the outskirts of Karachi were leased out, started in the 80's under which poultry farms, dairy farms, agricultural farms were opened, we are all ready to pay government fees but after 2008 In his time, extortion started from Tippi, which was three times the official price.
