Pakistani-American woman appointed dean of Texas University
Dr. Faiza Khoja, a Pakistani-American woman, has been appointed Dean of the College of Business Administration at A&M University of Texas (Central Texas).
Dr. Faiza Khoja has numerous publications on business administration in both academic and practical fields. She has written in several journals of Business Strategies, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Management Issues and many other journals.
Dr. Khoja's professional experience includes more than two decades of experience in forming committees for state and national institutions, including management and business administration in higher education.
Dr. Faiza Khoja has also been an active member of the Community Board in the past, serving as Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Federal Credit Union.
In his farewell message, Dr. Peg Gray Vickery, who resigned from the same post, said that he was very happy to have Dr. Faiza Khoja as Dean.
"The graduate and undergraduate programs at A&M University of Texas' College of Business Administration will now be led by Dr. Khoja. We are confident that the College of Business Administration will grow under his leadership," he said.
