Islamabad High Court orders immediate reopening of online game PubG .

The good news for online gamers is that the Islamabad High Court has ordered PubG to reopen immediately.

Supreme Court Justice Amir Farooq, while ruling against the ban on PubG, directed the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) to immediately open the PubG game. ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has quashed PTA's decision to ban pubs.

The PTA had banned pubs following youth suicides and complaints from citizens. However, the company controlling PubG in Pakistan had challenged the PTA decision in the Supreme Court.
Yesterday, the PTA had decided to maintain the ban on pubs. The PTA, in its statement in the light of the Lahore High Court's directive, had said that the PTA had sought details from the management of PubG about the sessions of PubG, the number of users in Pakistan and the controls imposed by the company. But no response was received from PubG.
