Indian soldiers banned from using Facebook
The Indian Ministry of Defense has banned soldiers from using many other apps, including Facebook.
According to Indian media reports, Indian troops will have to delete 89 apps, including Facebook, from their mobile phones, as directed by the Indian Ministry of Defense.
The Indian military has instructed troops to stay away from 89 mobile apps, including Facebook, for fear of leaking classified information. The mobile apps that Indian troops have been asked to delete include Facebook, Tik Tak, Truecaller and Instagram.
Troops have also been asked to delete several news apps, including Daily Hunt
