Asma Bibi cheated and pretended to be a man and married her friend Neha. A Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench summoned the two on July 15.
Asma Bibi changed her identity card at NADRA and changed her name to Akash. He later pretended to be a boy and married a girl named Neha in court. Both girls are residents of Taxila.
When Neha's father came to know about this, he filed a petition in the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench.
Lawyer Amjad Janjua said that the marriage of the two girls was registered in the Convention Board Ward 10. Asma alias Akash Ali said that she has changed her gender but in Pakistan sex change is impossible while it is an illegal act.
A Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench granted the petition of Neha's father and summoned the two girls on July 15.
