According to a statement issued by ISPR, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) and was the guest of honor at the handover ceremony of Tank Al-Khalid-One to the Armored Corps Regiment. Special participation.

According to ISPR, Tank Al-Khalid-One is a joint project of Pakistan-friendly countries China and Ukraine


The statement said that during the ceremony, the practical capabilities of Tank Al-Khalid-One were demonstrated, including mobility, speed, strength in the control system, double-barreled firing and use of smoke screens.

According to ISPR, Khalid was handed over to formations which played an important and decisive role during the war.

During the function, Chairman HIT Major General Syed Amir Raza highlighted the ongoing projects in the defense industry through self-reliance, the achievements of HIT and its role.

The Army Chief expressed confidence and satisfaction over the products and capabilities of Heavy Industry Taxila and appreciated them.

Addressing the function, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa lauded the efforts of Heavy Industries Taxila in achieving self-reliance and manufacturing world class defense products which are in dire need of national security in the current situation.

Reiterating the need for strengthening defense and operational readiness, the Army Chief said that our defense readiness and operational readiness is to ensure peace. However, the army chief said that if we were provoked, we would respond and respond with all our might.
