Great news for young people seeking US citizenship

Washington : For the first time, US President Donald Trump has given good news to aspirants for US citizenship.
According to the US broadcaster, President Trump has said that he is finding a way to give citizenship to young immigrants. "People will be happy with it," he said.
President Trump has said he will soon sign a new executive order on immigration, which will pave the way for the granting of citizenship to young people who came to the United States illegally with their parents as children. ۔
According to Voice of America, in an interview with the Spanish-language TV network Telemondo, Trump said that the plan is in favor of the pending program of children who came to the United States illegally as children. Under the program, they have been granted temporary residency in the United States. "We are paving the way for his citizenship," the president said.
The statement added that the administrative order would be based on merit. He reiterated that Trump would work with Congress to find a formal legal solution. In addition to citizenship, this will include stronger border security and permanent reforms based on merit. But, no general amnesty will be granted.
The Trump administration has previously sought to abolish the DACA. The program, implemented under President Obama, protected more than 700,000 immigrants.
Without elaborating on this major immigration ordinance, he said he intends to sign an ordinance that would include DACA "and I think people will be happy with it."
Will this executive order be in opposition to the Congress Reform Bill? In response to this question, President Trump said that the Supreme Court, in its ruling last month on DACA, had given him too much power to issue an administrative order.
According to a White House spokesman, President Trump will sign the decree in the next four weeks.
Trump did not elaborate on what the new immigration law would look like, while a White House spokesman said in a statement after the interview that the order would not mean a general amnesty.
Republican Senator Ted Cruz, on the other hand, criticized Trump's decision in a tweet saying that constitutionally the president has zero percent power to pave the way for citizenship through an executive order.
