Eat fish and avoid brain damage caused by pollution.


A detailed survey found that regular consumption of salmon, gray and other greasy fish, especially in the elderly, can protect the brain from air pollution damage. Details are included in the latest issue of the Journal of Neurology.

This is because all oily fish are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which on the one hand keep the heart strong, on the other hand reduce the body's internal inflammation and remove the waste products that accumulate in the brain. It was found that eating fish maintained the amount of white matter (white matter) in the brain, which helped prevent the destructive effects of air pollution.
