PESHAWAR: Well-known singer Gul Panda's tick-tock video made at the Deputy Commissioner's rest house has gone viral on social media.
According to reports, the video was made while dancing to a Pashto song in the bungalow of Deputy Commissioner Khyber Tribal District. The singer's tick-tock video has started a new discussion on social media. A series of comments from the public has been released. After watching, some users supported the video while others criticized it openly.
On the other hand, a statement issued from the office of the Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration has nothing to do with Gul Panda's tick tock video. The video was made in DC's bungalow in Landi Kotal, DC Mahmood Aslam said. Taking notice of the incident, she demanded a report from Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Imran within 24 hours. When the matter came to light, the Deputy Commissioner said that the guests are welcomed but without such permission no one can be allowed to enter the government building and then make ticking videos. He said that action would be taken against those found involved in the incident.
The administration called for an investigation into how the singer and others entered the official residence and then made a tick-tick video. The statement said that no permission had been sought from the DC for the video and that the matter had not been brought before the Assistant Commissioner.
