War crimes court approves inquiry into violence against Rohingya Muslims

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has approved a full investigation into the atrocities against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.

The ICC judges yesterday approved an investigation into a massive military crackdown against Muslims in Myanmar in 2017.

The World Court's decision comes a day after Argentina launched a crackdown on Rohingya Muslims against Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
Myanmar army chief banned from entering U.S.

In addition, the United Nations High Court is also suing the Rohingya Muslim genocide in Myanmar.

It is thought that around 7.5 million Rohingya Muslims are living in Bangladeshi refugee camps due to fear of genocide by Myanmar forces.

Established in 2002, the World Criminal Court has the authority to investigate the worst crimes in the world, and under those powers the ICC will investigate crimes in Myanmar, which include organized violence, mass human trafficking. Includes investigations into persecution of Rohingya people due to interference and beliefs.
