Volunteers campaigning for the rights of Uighur Muslims say
they have gathered evidence of the presence of close to 500 concentration camps
in China.
According to French news agency AFP, volunteers campaigning
for the rights of the Uighur Muslims have expressed concern that the Chinese
government is putting more than a million Muslims in the camps in the camps.
The report says that after researching the images of Google
Earth, the organization says it identified 209 potential prisoners and 74
forced labor camps, details of which will be given later.
Speaking to reporters in Washington, the organization's
director of operations, Kelly Olbert, said that most of them had not been
identified before, perhaps because we're talking about an even larger number,
and we fear that more there may be locations we have not yet identified.
Former US intelligence officer and adviser to the
organization, Andreas Korr, says 40 percent of those locations had not been

prayers, alcohol and pigs. Beliefs are prevented from being practiced.
The vibrant East Turkestan National Awakening Movement in
Washington wants to liberate the Muslim-majority Xinjiang from China, the
organization has geographically identified 182 locations that are being called
potential 'concentration camps'.
Randall Shriver, the Pentagon's top official for Asia, said
in May of the Uighur Muslim concentration centers that the figure could be up
to 3 million citizens, a huge figure for a population of 200 million.
According to Kel Olbert, old photographs of potential camps
