According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Tom and Jerry movie will be released for release in 2020.

The film will be directed by Tim Story, while the cast includes Clowne Grace Mortz, Michael Pena, Ken Jeong, Rob Delaney, Jordan Bolger and Deleuze Sharda, who will give the characters their voices.

Reportedly, the movie will feature the story of Tom Billy and Jerry who will be removed from their home after which they will start living in a New York hotel.


It was previously announced that the film will be released in 2021 but now it has been decided to release it soon.

The first episode of the Tom and Jerry cartoon was aired in 1940, called 'Puss Gets the Boat', a cartoon series revolving around a pet cat 'Tom' and a rat 'Jerry'. , In which both find excuses to annoy each other.

This hilarious story of the cat and the rat was created by directors William Danby and Joseph Barbera.


From 1940 to 1958, they produced 114 parts of Tom & Jerry's.
