Indian Air Force Chief confessed to eliminating his own helicopter on February 27
Indian Air Force Chief Air Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh has
admitted that we had wrongly killed our own helicopter, which has also been
prosecuted against two officers.
Indian media reported that the Indian Air Force's new chief,
Rakesh Kumar Singh, confessed to the army's inability and neglect in talking to
journalists and said that the helicopter of the Indian Air Force that crashed
in Srinagar on February 27 had actually hit the ground.
The missile was
destroyed by the missile and these missiles were operated by the Indian Air
Force as a helicopter.
The Indian Air Chief added that the Supreme Court has
completed the investigation in which two of our officers were found to have
mistakenly targeted their own helicopter against which strict disciplinary
action would be taken. We acknowledge our mistake.
And necessary steps have
been taken to prevent such accidents from happening again, not to repeat their
mistakes.
It may be recalled that on February 27, the Indian Air Force
had landed by the Pak Air Force, and the Indian pilot was still detained. In
the same confusion and pressure, the Indian Air Force had shot down its own
Mi-17 helicopter in Srinagar as a Pakistani helicopter.
