Google’s Doodle honored Pakistani Chocolaty film actor Waheed Murad on his 81st birthday


On Waheed Murad’s 81st birthday, search engine Google paid tribute to him by placing a 'doodle' on his homepage on which social media users from across Pakistan are thanking Google.

Born on October 2, 1938, Waheed Murad, the chocolate hero of Pakistan, received his early education from Mary Clauscool and later earned an MA in English Literature.

Waheed Murad started his film career in 1959 with the film "Saathi". In 1962 he was cast for a leading role in SM Yusuf's film "Children", which won the Golden Jubilee. The fame of Waheed Murad was further enhanced by the film "Diamonds and stones". He has the honor of being a simultaneous filmmaker, writer and hero for Pakistan's first platinum jubilee film "Arman".



The Chocolate Heroes have worked in a total of 125 films, from "offspring" to "earthquake" and their characters survive. Other songs ranging from "Don't Go Alone" to everlasting fame. His first film was "Olad" and the last released movie was "Earthquake".




He also worked in a Pashto film "Pakhtoon Pa Province", a personal version of actor Asif Khan's personal film "Kala Dhanda Gore Log". Waheed Murad was simultaneously a film actor, film producer and scriptwriter. Waheed Murad's best films include "Dil Mera Dhadak Teri", "Diamond and Stone", "Arman", "Andalib", "Mastana Mahi", "Humanity", "Divar Bhabhi" and so on.


Waheed Murad won a total of 32 awards in his 23-year film career for his outstanding performance. Waheed Murad spent the last moments of his life in Karachi, the home of his sister-in-law, Mumtazib, who passed away on November 23, 1983, and met the creator.
