Emmy: Despite being the best drama, 'Game of Thrones' did not live up to expectations

Fantasy drama 'Game of Thrones' set a record of receiving 32
nominations for the most popular Emmy awards in the United States, but the
series did not receive as many awards as was expected in the 71st Emmy.
Celebrities from Hollywood attended the Emmy Awards colorful
event held in the United States on Sunday. On this occasion several popular
drama series were nominated for awards.
The fantasy series 'Game of Thrones' was also nominated for
32 awards at the event. The 8-season series was awarded the Emmy Award for Best
Drama at the event.
"The biggest contributor to the success of this series
is George R.R. Martin, he wrote his story and I want to thank him for it,"
said David Benioff, producer of Game of Thrones. '.
Peter Dinklage, the character of 'Game of Thrones', also set
the record for four consecutive years winning the Best Supporting Actor Award. Peter Dinklage won the Best Supporting Actor Award
However, fans were disappointed when actors from the second
series succeeded in winning the award for Game of Thrones for Emmy's Best Actor
and Actress Awards.
The Emmy Award for Best Actor was won by Gerald Jerome, the
actor in a series called 'Van Dee As'. While the Emmy Award for Best Actress was given to actress
Michelle William, who played the role of a dancer in the series 'Foes /
Worden'.
The actress was also praised for her speech while accepting
the award, when she called for equal compensation for men and women in the
entertainment industry.
The Best Director's Award was named after FB Waller Bridge,
whose comedy series 'Philly Bag' was awarded three more awards with the best
director, including the Best Comedy Series, Best Comedy Series Actress and Best
Writer Award. Flybag actress and director FB Waller Bridge also won 4
awards for the series
In the meantime, the Best Television Movie Award was in the
name of Black Mirror, while Billy Parker won the Best Drama Series Actor Award
for his series 'Pause'.
