Counselor access to kulbhushan yadav: Indian diplomat leaves office after three hours.

Pakistan releases counsel for kulbhushan yadav, Indian Deputy High Commissioner visits after that.

Indian Deputy High Commissioner Goru Ahluwalia arrived at the Foreign Office in Islamabad on Monday to meet kulbhushan Yadav where he spent three hours.
Pakistani officials said on Sunday that kulbhushan Yadav will meet with Indian officials at the Foreign Office on Monday.

Pakistan once again offered consular access to kulbhushan yadav, which India accepted on Sunday.

Pakistani Foreign Office spokesman Dr Muhammad Faisal said in his messages on Twitter on Sunday that "Indian spy commander kulbhushan yadav, who is an Indian Navy service officer and RAW, will be given consular access on September 2, 2019.
The offer came from Pakistan at a time when relations between the two countries have been strained after the elimination of the special constitutional status of Indian occupied Kashmir and making it a centrally administered territory.

This is the second time since the International Court of Justice's decision on the kulbhushan Yadav case that Pakistan has been consular access to kulbhushan yadav.
Earlier last month, Pakistan formally offered India consular access to kulbhushan yadav. However, in response to the offer, India had demanded from Pakistan to provide consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav in a 'fear free of pressure and punishment' environment.

India's response to the Pakistani Foreign Office's recent announcement of consular access has not yet been responded to.On July 17, the International Court of Justice had ordered Pakistan to review the death sentence of the alleged spy and grant consular access.

The court had ruled that Pakistan violated Article 36 of the Vienna Convention by not granting kulbhushan Yadav access to the consular. In April 2017, a Pakistani military court sentenced kulbhushan Yadav to death on charges of espionage, sabotage and terrorism.

Against the verdict, India in May 2017 sought a stay of the International Court of Justice and requested that the release of kulbhushan Yadav be suspended and his release be granted.

India's appeal was rejected by the International Court of Justice, but ordered Pakistan to grant the accused access to the consulate and to review his death sentence.
About kulbhushan yadav, Pakistan claims that he is an Indian Navy service officer who was arrested in Balochistan province of Pakistan in 2016.Pakistan has for a long time accused India of backing Baloch separatist elements in Balochistan.
