A case was filed against Felicity Hoffman, the popular actress in the movie 'The Desperate House Views', in which the applicant claimed that her daughter had been bribed to attend college.

However, the American actress has now revealed that she paid $ 15,000 to bribe her daughter to attend college in May 2017, which she is ashamed of but it was only because she wanted to be a good mother.

According to a report by the British Broadcasting Agency, the US court has imposed a 14-day jail sentence and a fine of $ 30,000 on the college admissions scandal, and the actress will also have to serve 250 hours of community service.

The actress apologized to the educational organization, including her daughter, husband and family, embarrassing her mistake.

The convicted American actress said, "I want to apologize especially to the students who work hard to get into college, and to the parents who have sacrificed their children to support them."

In a verdict, Judge Indira Talwani said she believed that Huffman had fully accepted her responsibility, but that was not what she did to be a good mother.

It should be noted that 50 people are accused of bribing children but there is no involvement of children.

On the other hand, the petitioner against the American actress said that she should not be sentenced to 14 days imprisonment but a month and a half.

The applicant said that the best universities in the United States are creating a cheating place for youth enrollment, including Yale, Georgetown and Standford Universities.

Meanwhile, US Senator Bernie Sanders wrote in a tweet about the actress, saying that we have a criminal justice system that is racist, broken and should be improved.
