Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali face creative differences between each other with regards to the script of Inshallah which was supposed to be made with Alia Bhatt and this is the reason that the film is now shelved and not delayed. Salman Khan has clarified that he and Sanjay will still remain friends and 'Kick 2' will release instead of Inshallah on Eid 2020.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is reportedly considering Shah Rukh Khan for replacing Salman Khan in the film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali considered Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor for doing Bajirao Mastani a decade ago but then decided to go with Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
