Who wouldn't want to take a job offer 4 days a week and 3 days off, be it government employees or private sector workers? A similar experiment has been launched in the UK.
According to the plan, 3,300 workers of 70 British companies will work 3 days off and 4 days a week for 6 months without any deduction in their salary. The 4 Day Week Global experiment will continue in partnership with the Autonomy Think Tank.
Researchers from Cambridge, Oxford and Boston University will be involved in drawing conclusions from the project. Experts say the three-day holiday will not affect productivity but is expected to increase. At the same time, the results will not only improve the environment but also have a positive effect on the mental health and personality of the workers.
