Sales of rainbow-colored toys and clothing have been banned in Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi state television, authorities have confiscated a large number of rainbow-colored toys and costumes from shops and stopped selling them, accusing them of promoting homosexuality.
According to the port, officials from the Saudi Ministry of Commerce were seen removing various rainbow-colored items from shops in the capital, Riyadh, including hair clips, T-shirts, hats, apparel, bags and pencil cases.
Saudi officials say rainbow-colored objects are contrary to Islamic beliefs and public morality and promote homosexuality, targeting the younger generation.

Separately, the Saudi Ministry of Commerce tweeted that shops found selling them would face legal penalties.
