No COVID-19 Test Require for Travelers Arriving in the United States from Abroad

The United States has abolished the Covid 19 test requirement for overseas travelers.

Passenger covid tests was declared mandatory  by former President Donald Trump's administration in early 2021, after which the Biden administration tightened them.

All overseas passengers, including US citizens, had to undergo a covid test the day before boarding the flight and were only allowed to travel on a negative test.

But now the ban on covid tests is being lifted from June 12.

Airlines have long called on US authorities to lift the Covid test  obligation.

Now these companies have welcomed the decision of the US government.

According to officials, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC)  will review the impact of the decision for three months.

He said that if a new and more contagious strain of the corona virus emerges, Covid testing could be mandatory again.
