"Miss Marvel" reflects the family life of many Pakistani girls like me, Malala Yousafzai

The new film "Miss Marvel", which is being made under the auspices of London's famous production house "Disney", has impressed a large number of Pakistanis with its show and story, including Pakistan's youngest Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai and so on. Glad to have written a letter of appreciation to "Disney".

Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai wrote a letter of appreciation to Disney, saying, "Sometimes it happens that when you see a character on TV who eats food just like you, he listens to music just like you. Miss Marvel was delighted to see the life of a Pakistani immigrant family and to see a young man as a superhero whose strengths are rooted in her culture.

Commenting on the first episode of the Miss Marvel series on social media platform "Podium", Malala Yousafzai wrote: "I like to celebrate for a girl who looks like me when she fights villains and saves friends Yes, but "Miss Marvel" is for every young person looking for a place in the world. I found Kamala Khan's life so familiar, talking to my friends about Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. "Listening to Pakistani pop songs and eating chicken biryani with my family and I doubt that many Pakistani children will see their parents in Kamala's sociable father and strict mother."

The series is being directed by Oscar winning Pakistani filmmakers Sharmeen Obaid Chanay, Meera Menon, Adil Al Arabi and Bilal Falah. With its premiere today, Marvel Studios will release "Miss Marvel" exclusively in cinemas in Pakistan, with the first two installments on June 16, three and four on June 30 and five and six on July 14.
