The Guinness Book of World Records named Khapangi, a young man from Nepal, as the world's shortest man.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, the height of Dur Bahadur Khapangi is 73.43 cm or 2 feet 4.9 inches. The Guinness Book of World Records has named the man the world's shortest man.
According to the report, Dur Bahadur was born on November 14, 2004, making him 17 years old. He is a resident of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
A special ceremony was held to confer the certificate of world honor. On this occasion, Dur Bahadur did not speak shyly but his brother Nara Bahadur Khapangi spoke on behalf of Dur.
"Our brother set a world record, which the whole family is happy about and we are proud of," Nadar said.
