16 and 17 year old were arrested for listening to Pakistani songs in their shop in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
According to Indian media, two young men named Naeem and Mastiq were listening to Pakistani songs in their shop in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh.
A report lodged with the police said that the boys were listening to songs praising neighboring Pakistan and one song contained the words "Long live Pakistan".
The FIR states that when the boys were asked to stop singing, the two not only got into an argument but also used wrong words about India.
The detainees said in a confessional statement that they played Pakistani songs in their shop but did not expect that the results would come out.
It should be noted that the Bharatiya Janata Party government in India has narrowed the ground for minorities and their basic rights are being severely deprived.
