The world's most expensive telescope took the 'first picture' of the stars!

Houston, Texas: The US space agency NASA has released the first test image of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).

This image is of the stars of the famous cluster of the Great Sky (Dubb Akbar) (Big Bear), the main star of which is HD 84406, which is 258 light years away from our Earth. (That is, it takes 258 years for the light of this star to reach us.)

It should be noted that the actual mission of the world's most expensive space telescope 'JWST', which was developed at a cost of ten billion dollars, has not started yet but its alignment of 18 mirrors is being done very carefully in the test phase.

By the time May or June of this year, when all the testing phases have been completed, it will begin regular imagery of the universe.

NASA has also issued a press release with the photo stating that the photo shoot started on February 2 and took 25 hours to complete.

JWST observed and photographed 156 locations in the desired area of Dubai Akbar (Ursa Major). This area is as big as the full moon visible from the earth.

During this time, 1,560 images of the region were taken with the help of ten near infrared cameras of space telescopes, which were later combined to form a larger image of 2 billion pixels.

Currently, each mirror of JWST is working separately, but in the next few months, all these mirrors will be arranged together in such a way that they will start working like a huge mirror.

During this time, at every stage where the 'alignment' of the mirrors will be corrected, the communication system of this telescope will also be tested by transmitting test images to the ground center.
