Saudi Arabia tops list of gold reserves

 
Saudi Arabia tops the list of gold reserves in the Arab world, while the United States has the largest gold reserves in the world.

According to the news agency, the World Gold Council has released the list of countries with gold reserves, according to which Saudi Arabia is the 18th country in the world with gold reserves and the top among the Arab countries.

In the Arab world, Lebanon is second only to Saudi Arabia, Algeria is third, Libya is fourth, Iraq is fifth, Egypt is sixth, Kuwait is seventh, Qatar is eighth, UAE is ninth, Jordan is tenth, Syria is eleventh, Morocco is twelfth, Tunisia Yemen is 13th, Bahrain 14th and 15th.

According to the report, Saudi Arabia currently has 323.1 tons of gold reserves, while Lebanon has 286.8 tons, Algeria 173.6 tons, Libya 116.6 tons, Iraq 96.4 tons, Egypt 80.8 tons, Kuwait 79 tons and Qatar has 56.7 tonnes of gold reserves.

In addition, the UAE has gold reserves of 55.9 tons, Jordan 43.5 tons, Syria 25.80 tons, Morocco 22.1 tons, Tunisia 6.8 tons, Bahrain 4.7 tons and Yemen 1.6 tons.

Similarly, the United States currently has the largest gold reserves in the world with 8133.5 tons of gold while Germany has the second largest gold reserves in the world with 3359.1 tons.

Italy is the third largest gold producer in the world with 2451.8 tons of gold, followed by France with 2436.4 tons and Russia with 2298.5 tons of gold.
