A passenger plane crashed in the South American country of Peru shortly after takeoff and crashed, killing seven people.
According to the International News Agency, a small single-engine Casena 207 plane carrying five tourists and two crew members flew from Maria Richie Airport in the South American country of Peru's Nazca resort.
Shortly after takeoff, the plane lost contact with the control tower. According to eyewitnesses, the plane was seen swaying at some distance from the airport.
The plane caught fire as it fell to the ground. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and removed seven burnt bodies, including children, from the wreckage.
The five dead passengers belonged to the same family and came to Nazka for entertainment while two crew members including the pilot.
Civil Aviation has formed an inquiry committee to investigate the accident.
