More than 660 couples got married in Mexico on Valentine's Day, International Valentine's Day.
The Mexican city administration and the families of the married couples also attended in large numbers at this grand mass wedding ceremony.
According to the French news agency AFP, 74-year-old Francisco Calvo and Rosalba Silva are also married. The couple met five years ago.
Salwa was a widow and did not expect to be re-married. He said he did not think life would give him another chance.
For 40-year-old Jonathan Garcia, attending the ceremony, the mass wedding is a family tradition.
Jonathan Garcia said that his two sisters were married in a similar mass wedding ceremony and when he saw that they were happy, he thought that this tradition should be continued.
Maria Derenka Randon, an official at the Mexican consulate, said gathering 661 families in one place for a mass wedding was no less of a challenge.
Maria said the event was an important occasion for the married couple, their families and the administration itself, which led to its hard work.
