Everyone was shocked by the sudden death of Miss America and her fans have not been able to come out of the shock yet. There was a flurry of condolences on social media.
Chesley Crest had competed in the Miss Universe pageant in 2019, but she did not succeed. She has been involved in advocacy as well as fashion shows and TV shows since becoming Miss America.
