Hindu extremism in India, hijabi students in another college were banned

Hijab students were barred from entering another government college in the Indian state of Karnataka.

Under the auspices of the Modi government, Hindu extremists are conducting regular campaigns against the hijab. Female students wearing hijab were barred from entering another college in Karnataka.

The hijab students requested the principal of the college to allow them to take classes as the exams were approaching but the principal did not take any notice of the request of the students and refused to allow them to enter the college with hijab.

This is not the first time in Karnataka that hijab-wearing students have been barred from entering college. Earlier, Muslim students were barred from attending classes at another government college. A student has filed a petition in the court against the ban on hijab.
