False news: Indian journalist Rajdeep Sir Desai became an example

Rajdeep Sir Desai, one of India's most senior journalists and news anchors, has apologized for reporting false news without any pressure.

Rajdeep has publicly apologized for misrepresenting the figures, criticizing New Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his political party Aam Aadmi Party's new excise policy.

Yesterday, Rajdeep Sir Desai shared a video statement on Twitter in which he said that he had made a mistake in stating the figures. The Aam Aadmi Party introduced a national excise policy in New Delhi under which 580 excise licenses Issued, but due to my misinformation I told them more than two thousand for which I apologize.

It should be noted that Aam Aadmi Party is the government in New Delhi and its leader Arvind Kejriwal is the Chief Minister of this state.

On the other hand, the country's ruling party, the BJP, which is terrified of the Aam Aadmi Party, has launched a systematic campaign against it.

Two days ago, BJP minister Smriti Irani also criticized the Kejriwal government's new excise policy, saying it was shocking that liquor shops had opened near schools and religious places in New Delhi.

He also slammed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying, "The leader who called for sit-ins against alcohol and demanded its closure, today allowed the opening of wine shops near schools.

While false news for ratings is widely circulated in India, Rajdeep Sir Desai's public apology is a lesson to other Indian journalists.
