NEW YORK: Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, Space Link and other companies and world-renowned in the field of technology, has offered a college student $5,000 to close his Twitter account.
Elon Musk wrote in a response to 19-year-old student Jack Sweeney:
"Take this five thousand dollars and close my Twitter account that monitors my flight."
Named after Elonjet, this Twitter handle is one of Jack Sweeney's many accounts. The reason is that when Elon Musk takes off and lands on his private jet, the details are transmitted from this account. Although his fans keep creating Twitter accounts on the details of celebrities from all over the world. But Elon Musk, in a retweet, called the account a security risk.
That's why Elon Musk was the first to tell the young man that the account was a security risk for Elon himself. In response, the young man said he was impressed with Elon Musk and mentioned the Model 3, which could be a reference to a Tesla car.
Elon Musk then asked the young man how much he earned from all these accounts, since he had 80,000 followers at the time. Jack says he can make 20 to 25 a month. Elon then offered her $5,000 to close the account.
But then Jack got tempted and asked Elon Musk to add a zero, but Elon Musk didn't answer.
Sweeney then asked Elon if he was a fan of SpaceX and Tesla and wanted to do an internship at his company. But so far Elon Musk has not responded to the 50,000 and internship.
But it is worth mentioning here that this young man had all the data of Elon Musk's flight which was handed over to Khokar algorithm and his tweet bots were created which kept posting Elon's travel details automatically.
