When a resident of Bahawalnagar expressed his desire of second marriage, she lost her temper and tortured her husband to death.

When the family rushed the victim to the hospital, the doctor gave him emergency medical care and X-ray and CT scan, which revealed that his ribs had been broken as a result of the violence.

In addition, the victim's head and face were severely affected by the violence. Doctors rushed the injured to the hospital after providing emergency medical aid, while police arrested the accused and remanded her in custody.

According to police sources, the accused confessed to torturing her husband and said that she was very angry when she heard of his desire for a second marriage, after which she could not control her emotions and used whatever she could get her husband to do.
