The world famous Punjabi comedy film of Pakistani artists "Chal Meera Pat 2" has received good response from the audience.
Released on Friday, December 24, the film has so far grossed over Rs 25 million in Pakistani cinemas and is running showhouses in major cinemas and multiplexes in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and other cities.
Sheikh Abid Rashid, Executive Director, Distribution Club, said that "Chal Meera Pupt 2" has succeeded in reviving the colors of Pakistani cinemas and the box office business reflects the fact that comedy-filled family films are still the first choice of the audience.
He further said that after "Chal Meera Pupt 2" organized by Distribution Club, other Punjabi films including "Chal Meera Pupt 3" will also be screened, for which preparations are underway.
Sheikh Abid Rasheed further said that "Chal Meera Upat 2" depicts the situation of Punjabis going to Europe in a humorous manner and Pakistani comedians Iftikhar Thakur, Zafari Khan, Nasir Chinioti, Akram Adas, and Ruby Anam have acted in this film. I have four moons.
