Fugitive monkeys in the United States have caused trouble for authorities. In Pennsylvania, a truck carrying 100 monkeys collided with a truck parked on a motorway, allowing the monkeys to escape.

Some monkeys were caught while several monkeys escaped. The monkeys were being taken to a Florida laboratory for experiments to develop a corona vaccine.
