According to Indian media reports, while participating in Karan Johar's popular talk show, Kafi Wid Karan in 2013, Aamir Khan, while talking to Salman about his awkwardness, revealed that his first impression of Salman was very good.
Aamir Khan said that my experience of working with Salman Khan in 'Andaz Apna Apna' was very bad, he did not like me at all Wanted to stay away.
However, Aamir Khan later admitted in the same show that Salman Khan reconnected with him in 2002 when he was having a difficult time due to separation from his first wife Reena Dutt.
Aamir revealed that he and Salman later talked to each other a lot and this is how our true friendship started.
Aamir further said that Salman came into my life at a time when I was going through my most difficult time and after him our friendship became stronger and it continues to this day.
