Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, 39, and Nick Jones, 29, who left India for the United States after their marriage, gave birth to their first child.
According to the Associated Press (AP), the couple confirmed in a joint statement on January 22, a week after the birth of their first child.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jones said in a similar Instagram post that their first child was born on January 15 and both gave birth to a child through surrogacy.
The sperm and eggs of the parents are transferred to the uterus of another woman through some medical procedure through the process of 'cervical gas' and the same woman gives birth to the child of the other parent.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jones also confirmed the birth of the baby through 'Cervo Gasi' but did not immediately announce the gender and name of the little guest.
Both appealed to fans and the media to take care of their privacy and they are all grateful for the good wishes on this happy occasion.
The couple got married in December 2018 during a lavish ceremony in India. The age difference between the two is 10 years. The actress is older than her husband.
In May last year, Nick Jones expressed his desire to have children soon in an interview, after which there were rumors in the American and Indian media that Priyanka Chopra was pregnant, but the couple did not confirm the news.
After promising to be pregnant, the couple has now confirmed that they had a baby with cervical gas.
Even before marriage, Priyanka Chopra had expressed her desire to have more children.
