The Central Asian country of Turkmenistan has decided to close the gates of 'Hell'.
According to foreign media reports, during the search for oil and gas reserves in Turkmenistan in 1971, experts dug a pit in which a fire broke out which is still burning and to date experts have not been able to extinguish this fire. Due to which not only the nearby environment is being damaged but also minerals are being wasted.
According to reports, the President of Turkmenistan has ordered the exit of the gateway to hell in the country.
President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov wants his move to be seen as an attempt to boost gas exports, for environmental and health reasons as well.
