Iranian state television hacked; Demand for the execution of Ayatollah Khamenei

Iran's state-run Broadcasting Corporation's television channel was hacked, demanding the release of opposition leaders and the execution of spiritual leader Khamenei.

According to the international news agency, pictures of Masood Rizvi, the leader of the anti-government Awami Mujahideen group, and his wife Maryam Rizvi were suddenly broadcast on Iranian state television.

At the same time, a cartoon was shown on the state channel calling for the public execution of the spiritual leader Khamenei, while behind the scenes a voice was heard chanting "Long live Masood Rizvi and long live Khamenei".

The Mujahedeen-e-Khalq Tehreek did not comment on the hacking of state television and the broadcast of a picture of its leader, but hackers admitted to hacking Iranian state TV from a social media account.

Meanwhile, a statement issued by the Iranian state channel said that the channel was hacked for 10 seconds. Due to tight security and timely response, control of the channel was immediately restored.
