Heavy rains expected in Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh till January 9

 

The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains across the country from tomorrow to January 9 in Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh.

According to the Meteorological Department, the rains will spread to the upper areas tomorrow. On January 7 and 8, heavy rains are expected in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar while the rains are likely to inundate several low lying areas including Rawalpindi and Lahore.

According to the meteorological department, snowfall is expected in Murree, Galyat, Neelum Valley, Bagh, Havelian, Naran and Kagan till January 9 while heavy snowfall is also expected in Skardu, Astor, Chitral, Dir, Swat and Malam Jabba.
