Dubai: The famous British auction house 'Sophie' has offered a 555.55 carat black diamond in Dubai which is believed to have come to Earth from space.
This diamond is quite large in size and has 55 facets that make it even more unique.
The diamond has been dubbed the "Enigma" (puzzle) and is considered one of the rarest diamonds in the world.
No one knows where the diamond came from, but according to one hypothesis, it may have been part of a meteorite that hit the Earth millions of years ago and somehow survived.
Black diamonds, also known as 'Carbonado', have so far been found only in Brazil and Central Africa.
After Dubai, Enigma will also be on display in Los Angeles, with its final destination being London, where it will be auctioned in February.
Sophie Stevens, a diamond expert at Sophie Dubai, says that the repetition of five (5) is very special for this diamond because on one hand it weighs 555.55 carats and on the other hand it has 55 facets.
Probably a factor as to why they're doing so poorly. "
In exchange for this diamond auction, Sophie is also preparing to accept corrupt currency.
Sophie also said that the number five (5) is of special importance in Eastern religions, so this diamond could be auctioned for more value than their initial estimates.
