Actress Harshali Malhotra, who played the role of Mani in the film Bajrangi Bhai Jan, named her award after Salman Khan.
According to Indian media, actress Harshali Malhotra was awarded Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar Award 2022 for playing the role of a Pakistani girl who crossed the border by mistake in Bajrangi Bhai Jan.
Harshali Malhotra shared a photo with Social Media Prize and named her award after Bajrangi Bhai Jan i.e. Salman Khan. He also thanked all the members of the film team, including the director Kabir Khan.
Salman Khan had given a chance to Harshali Malhotra for the role of Mani in Bajrangi Bhai Jan.
Harshali Malhotra said in the post that it is an honor for him to receive this award.
In the movie Bajrangi Bhai Jan, released in 2015, Harshali Malhotra had gained fame by playing the role of a Pakistani girl deprived of eloquence.
Bajrangi Bhai Jan was very popular in Pakistan. In the film, Salman Khan played the lead role of Bajrangi Bhai Jan.
