According to Indian media, Delhi Police on Thursday arrested Neeraj Vishnu, the main accused of Billy Buy App, from Jorhat area of ​​Assam and transferred him to the capital.

The arrested accused was produced in the court today where at the request of the investigating officer, the judge remanded Neeraj to 7 days physical remand.

Police sources told NDTV that Neeraj belonged to a Hindu extremist group and had no regrets or embarrassment over his move but was satisfied and was justifying the action.

According to police sources, Neeraj is 21 years old and recently completed his B.Tech from Bhopal Institute.

The investigating officer said that various devices were recovered from the possession of the accused through which he used to upload pictures of women on the online platform.

The police officer said that Neeraj had shared photos of more than 27 Muslim and Sikh women for auction, which he had also admitted.

The investigation also revealed that the Billy Buy app was developed in November and released in December.
