You may have seen a lot of cars, but not like the BMW that has the ability to change color like a chameleon.
Yes, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, BMW unveiled the concept car called the IX Flow.
Electrophoretic technology in e-ink has been used for this vehicle.
With the help of this technology this car's color changes almost instantly, so how does it happen?
The IX Flow has a special wrap that helps to change the colors of the car's surface through electric motion.
Like the chameleon, this color-changing ability also works to the user's liking, even if the color of the whole car is heartbreaking, otherwise it can be changed to the sides, the shape of the straps or whatever the heart.
This color changing @BMWUSA #iX is wild! It’s apparently very temperature sensitive so they have a backup in a trailer in case this one gets too hot / cold pic.twitter.com/lXG1Gw0IKY
This technology helps the user to change the color of the vehicle to their liking.
Stella Clark, manager of the IX Flow project, said the vehicle would be able to express everyday life situations and different moods.
Currently this car can change color to black, white and gray.
Another advantage, according to the company, is that white cars are cooler than black cars on hot days, while darker colors help cars absorb more sunlight on cold days.
This will help reduce the cooling or heating rate on cold or hot days and will improve the efficiency of the vehicle.
But the company did not specify whether the car will be introduced to the general public in the near future.
