Worst downturn in the stock market, sinking more than 3 trillion, the dollar more expensive


 
The Pakistani stock market recorded its worst slump, with investors suffering a loss of over three trillion rupees due to the severe slump, while the US dollar also touched an all-time high against the rupee.

According to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan's social networking site Twitter, the dollar rebounded against the rupee at the Interbank Foreign Exchange during the first four trading days of the week, with the US currency appreciating by 94 paise. Due to the severe downturn, investors had to bear a loss of more than Rs 300 billion in the Pakistan stock market.

Experts say the ongoing gas crisis in the country, unrest in the industrial sector and the omi-cron virus in Europe have led to increased withdrawal of capital by foreigners and increased pressure on local investors to make a profit, and the State Bank of Pakistan The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) remained in a slump after fluctuations due to rising interest rates.

According to economists, falling crude oil prices in the global market, due to fears of a new type of corona overseas sanctions are falling markets around the world, which has affected the market shares.
