Turkish security forces have arrested 14 suspected members of the global terrorist organization ISIS from the country's financial and cultural stronghold of Istanbul, while security forces have killed six people, including the most wanted female terrorist, in an operation.
According to foreign media reports, Turkish police conducted simultaneous operations in nine districts and detained 14 suspects, including 13 foreigners whose identities have not yet been determined. Allegedly involved in providing financial and logistical support to the group, including recruiting members for the group in Istanbul and propaganda through social media.
On the other hand, Turkish security forces have killed six terrorists in the Baguk area of Mardin district, including a female terrorist named Hira, who was also wanted by Turkey on the Green List and has two million Turks on her head. Lira's reward was fixed.
ISIL has carried out a number of attacks in Turkey since 2015, including an attack on a nightclub in Istanbul during New Year's celebrations on January 1, 2017, in which 39 people were killed.
