Severe shortage of jet fuel used in aircraft in Pakistan

 

Due to the closure of oil refineries, the supply of jet fuel required by the aircraft is facing a severe shortage.

The PSO has stated that it is unable to supply A1 fuel in the required quantity for 15 days.

PSO Aviation officials at Lahore Airport have issued an email to the Manager Airport Services.

The email said that relevant service providers should inform foreign aircraft about bringing as much jet fuel as possible.

The e-mail states that fuel will be supplied to foreign aircraft only if necessary.

The e-mail also states that the former jet fuel supply will be restored once the situation returns to normal.
