The New Zealand female news anchor made history by wearing traditional tribal tattoos on her face and reading the news live.
According to foreign media, 37-year-old Orini Kaipara became the first anchor to read the news on TV with her face tattooed. Orini has a traditional tattoo on his chin. Consumers praised the news anchor for reviving her tribal tradition.
The anchor said that the long dream of reading news on TV with tattoos has finally come true. It is expected that in the coming years more women of the Maori tribe will be seen reading the news with tattoos on their faces.
It should be noted that Orini Kaipara belongs to the Maori tribe whose women make traditional tattoos on the lower part of the chin which is their identity.
