Muhammad Ali was six years old at the time during the 1971 war. His parents stayed in Frano, a village in Pakistani territory, while his grandfather was trapped in the Indian village of Thing. The distance between Thung and Frano is only five hundred meters, but it took Muhammad Ali forty-five years to meet his parents.
