A petrol truck had exploded at the Iraqi police recruiting center in Haiti, killing at least 60 people and wounding dozens more.
The accident happened on the northern coast of Haiti in Cape Hatton, the country's second-largest city.
According to reports, about 20 houses were burnt to ashes in the blast where deaths are feared but no confirmation has been received so far. Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry has declared three days of national mourning over the incident.
On the social networking site Twitter, Prime Minister Henry stated that he would like to express his condolences to the people of Haiti and his government, as well as to the parents of the victims, and to all those who have been directly or indirectly affected by this tragedy. Offer condolences
